Russian tank crushes civilian’s vehicle (VIDEO)

DW –– The Ukrainian Army reported today that it is facing an avalanche of Russian tanks in the locality of Ivankiv, advancing towards the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, from the regions surrounding the former Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense informed that the first Russian units advanced towards the capital. The ministry called on the population to report sightings of Russian military technology. Residents should not leave their homes. At this time, this information could not be independently verified.

“Russian tanks are advancing in the direction to Kiev, but in the vicinity of Ivankiv a fight broke out. Ukrainian forces blew up a bridge to stop the Russian column,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this Friday (25.02.2022), quoted by UNIAN.

Ivankiv is 80 kilometers from the Ukrainian capital and if overrun by Russian troops, they could continue their advance towards Kiev through the town of Vyshgorod, located on the banks of the Dieper River.

Yesterday, a video of a car destroyed and crushed by one of these Russian tanks went viral on Twitter. At the time of the incident, there was one person (the driver) inside the crushed car as the car was in circulation:
